Printing scientific papers (TeX/LaTeX with mathematical symbols and fonts) on the HP Laserjet 1020 in OS X.5
The loss of correct printing from my HP Laserjet 1020 was among several of the displeasures I experienced upon upgrading to Leopard. I can complain no longer, though, due to the excellent foo2zjs printer driver and a concise set of instructions for getting it installed by Rick Richardson. I hope some other cheap graduate student laser printer mac heads also find their way over there. (Not too cheap, though, I did tip him $10 for his work)
Oh, and a big :P to Journler for removing the MetaWeblog API after I finally got it working with TextPattern.
